St. Paul Church Ministries

“You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus; and what you have heard from me through many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others as well.” 2Timothy 2:1-2

There is no doubt in my mind God is calling us to be world changers! We cannot become what God wants us to become without first becoming fully devoted followers of Christ in our personal and corporate lives. For this reason, St. Paul AME Church developed ministries which incorporates spiritual maturity, community and personal participation.

Our ministries are designed to Equip, Enfold, Edify and Evangelize, thereby adhering to the Word of God.

Women need to now that regardless of the struggles or situations that we face: “We are more than conquerors, through Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:37)

In this ministry, women will be invited to the treasures of God’s word, through fellowship and biblical instruction. There will also be workshops and seminars to help aid I our spiritual growth.

We will meet once a month for “a time of fellowship” (Acts 2:42-and they continued steadfast in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers). This will consists of:

  • Prayer
  • Worship
  • The teaching of God’s word.
  • Social time, where we will have conversations about different issues, circumstances and areas of struggle. During this time the women will be able to relax and be free. They will be provided with an opportunity to freely express themselves, without having to worry about being judged.
  • The breaking of bread together.

We will have one even once quarter (every three month per calendar year). Women should know that being a “Christian” does not mean that enjoying life ends. In fact Jesus said, “I’m come that you might have life and have it more abundantly”. Some examples of the events are:

Vision:

The end result, will therefore be, a woman of God set forth in ministry for service for the Master. She will be an active member of the body of Christ.
